Vespa PX 200 - Das richtige Motoren Setup 

Malossi 221? Quattrini 244 oder 260? Drehschieber oder Membran? Oder vielleicht doch ein BFA 306 Motor?

Die Auswahl ist groß!

Die erste Frage die man sich dabei stellen sollte ist, wie nutze ich meine Vespa.

In den meisten Fällen ist es für die Ausfahrt am Wochenende,

den täglichen Gebrauch oder sogar eine ausgedehnte Urlaubsfahrt.

Die wenigsten werden ihren Motor für Rennveranstaltungen nutzen, kommt aber auch vor.

Für jedem Zweck kann ich etwas anbieten.

Es kommt ab und zu die Frage auf wo denn die Unterschiede bei den Motoren bestehen.

Vorweg muss ich sagen, die Motorgehäuse, die Getriebe, Kupplungen sowie sämtliche Kleinteile

sind bei allen Tuning Varianten die gleichen bewährten und hochwertigen Produkte.

Unterschiede bestehen neben dem Zylinder nur bei der Kurbelwelle.

Die größte Differenz besteht natürlich in der Leistungsabgabe.

Ich lege die Motoren standardgemäß immer auf ein Tourensetup aus.

Dort wird nicht das letzte PS gesucht sondern großen Wert auf Leistung und Drehmoment

über das ganze Drehzahlband gelegt.   

Speziell auf den Bereich nach Standgas aufwärts ist man viel unterwegs

und insbesonders ab 4000 - 6000 U/min muss Schub anliegen sonst taugt das nicht.

Ein Malossi 221 ist ein solider Tourenmotor, der Quattrini 244 ist etwas souveräner und

der Quattrini 260 toppt das ganze nochmals.

Genauso wie bei unterschiedlichen Motorisierungen eines Automodells verhält es sich auch hier.

Das Grundmodell kann alles schon ganz gut aber es geht auch immer noch ein wenig mehr und souveräner ;-)

The selection is big!

The first question to ask is how do I use my Vespa?

In most cases it will be for a weekend trip,

daily use or even an extended holiday trip.

Only a few will use their engine for racing events, but it also happens.

I can offer something for every purpose.

It comes from time to time the question of where because the differences in the engines exist.

First I have to say, the motor housing, the gears, clutches and all small parts

are the same proven and high-quality products in all tuning variants.

Differences exist beside the cylinder only with the crankshaft.

Of course, the biggest difference is in the power output.

I have always set the engines to a tour setup by default.

There is not the last horsepower sought but great value on power and

torque placed over the entire rev range.

Especially the lower speed range from 4000 to 6000 rpm, is used the most 

and there must be torque otherwise this is not good.

A Malossi 221 is a solid tour engine, the Quattrini 244 is a bit more sovereign and

the Quattrini 260 tops them all again.

The best price-performance ratio are the 221 and 244 engines.

Just as with different engines of a car model, it behaves here.

The basic model is quite good, but more is always possible ;-)
